Does India deserve to be No. 1

Indian team led by MS Dhoni has jumped to No 1 ranking in Test. But do they deserve it. I mean they still to beat Aussies and South Africa on their home soil. I feel whole ICC ranking system is in mess.

Whats your thoughts on it?

India can play with 10 players alone and leave harbhajan, it will be better than playing 11 players including harbhajan
